I designed and implemented a house chore and study reminder system for our family. This system works for homeschool family and public school family.
I was tired of being the constant reminder for my kids for daily tasks, chores and study (3 boys and their 4 pets). They came to ask me “what should I do now?” a lot of times. I did research and found some available systems (reference and links at the end) and borrowed ideas.
My system contains Daily Individual Chores, Individual Studies, and Group Studies. I will provide links, and templates so that you could customize for your family. I made the card with pictures. Very visual and works for my Kindergarten one. I labeled the sections with names, To Do, Done, To Learn, Done, etc. Label maker is great.
The kids learned quickly to find the chores or studies under their names. Once they finish one item, they will turn the reminder card and put it in the done pocket. The next day, those cards will be turned as a group and back to To Do or To Learn section. Some of the chores are sequential, the studies part they have the freedom to choose which one they want to work on first.
Here are the results with product links:

The blue box above is to hold paperwork letter or anything I need to store temporarily before I take to my home office upstairs to process. mDesign Plastic Wall Mount Mail and Key Holder with 5 Hooks
KEEPJOY Classroom Pocket Charts for Cell Phone Calculator Holders, Pocket Organizer for Cell Phone Jail with 30 Clear Pockets: This gives me more than enough room for all my 3 kids, their chore section (Left Half), their study section, and group lesson section (Right Half).
Vertical ID Card Name Tag Badge Holder with Waterproof Type Resealable Zip (Vertical ID, 100 Pcs): Rather than laminating each reminder card, I used this name tag holder. Perfect size.
I used a paper trimmer cutter to cut the reminder card. My kids loved to help me cut. I could not find the one I used on Amazon, but there are many choices available.
